Odemtic Injection

Each ml contains:
Furosemide (as monoethanolamine salt) 50mg.

Odemtic 50mg Injection treats congestive heart failure, pulmonary edema (fluid in the lungs), high blood pressure, high calcium and potassium levels, liver disease and some kidney diseases. It is a potent diuretic drug used in animals who suffer from fluid retention.

Administer the following dose by IM or IV injection once or twice daily until desired results are achieved. Cattle/Buffalo: Inject intramuscularly or intravenously 10ml once daily or 5ml twice daily at 12 hours interval.
Sheep/Goat: Inject intramuscularly or intravenously 1ml per 50 kg body weight.
Horses/Camel: Inject 5 to 10ml intramuscularly or intravenously once or twice daily at 06-08 hours interval.
Dog/Cats: Administer intravenously or intramuscularly 0.25-0.5 ml per 5 kg body weight once or twice daily at 06-08 hours interval.
During prolonged treatment, it is necessary to monitor the serum electrolyte balance.

Odemtic 50mg Injection is a highly effective diuretic- saluretic which if given in excessive amounts may result in dehydration and electrolyte imbalance. Concurrent use with aminoglycoside antibiotics may increase risks of nephrotoxicity and ototoxicity.
Odemtic 50mg Injection is contraindicated in animals with anuria or who are hypersensitive to the drug. Administration of NSAIDS with furosemide may diminish the effect.
Consult the veterinarian before use.
Store between 15-25°C in a cool and dry place. Keep out of the reach of children.
Keep container in the outer carton in order to protect from light.
