Ectoend Powder

Each gm contains:
Trichlorphon 98% w/w.

Ectoend powder is an organophosphorus and is used as an anthelmintic in the veterinary field for both endo and ectoparasites. The active ingredient in the Ectoend powder has very high tissue penetration when applied on the skin. Thus, Ectoend powder is a very useful product in killing and control of both ectoparasites and end
parasites. The end parasites include Astrophiles (bot fly) larvae, Haemonchus spp, Mecistocirrus,
Cooperia spp, Trichostrongylus spp, Oesophagostomum spp, Round worms of calves, Oesturs bovis, Oesturs ovis and Schist soma nasal. The ectoparasites include migrating and skin larvae of hypodermal bovis, hypodermal lineatum and dermatosis hominies, manage and depluming mites, lice, fleas, stephanofilariasis (hump sore), and dermatomycoses.

Livestock:
For external use:
Biting and sucking lice, fleas, manage mites, sheep kids: 0.15% aqueous solution Skin larvae of dermatosis fly: 1% aqueous solution Migrating larvae and skin larvae of Hypoderma bovis and lineatum: 2% aqueous solution
For internal use:
Larvae of bot flies (gastro- phallus, hebronema larvae), ascarides in horses: 35mg/kg
bodyweight Roundworms of cattle and sheep: 50mg/kg bodyweight.
Stephanofilariasis wound healing: 60-70mg/kg bodyweight.
Nematodes like cooperia, bunostomum,
oestertagia, Trichostrongylus and bot fly larvae:
75-80mg/kg bodyweight
Poultry:
For external use:
Dipping (1 to 2 minutes) spraying of building, walls, ceiling, nest, windows, doors and other sites where parasites and flies gather: 1.5gm Ectoend Powder per liter of water.
For internal use:
Add 10gm Ectoend powder per 100ml of drinking water and administer 0.3ml to 0.5ml per kg bodyweight.

If a person comes in contact with the preparation, the person in question is advised immediately to carefully wash the skin in question with water and soap.
Consult the veterinarian before use.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Store between 15-25°C in a cool and dry place.
