Each ml contains:
Diminazine Aceturate (MS) 105.00mg, Antipyrine (USP) 131.00mg.

Pronil injection is the combination of diminazine which acts as anti-trypanosomiasis agent and antipyrine which as analgesic, antipyretic agent. The combination provides effective treatment against Trypanosomes and
babesia in horses and dogs.
Diminazine is a diamidine derivative which gives a high trypanocidal effect against T.vivax, Tcongolase, T-brucei. Its spectrum is wide due to which is equally effective against Babesia like B-canis and Piroplasma also.
Antipyrine a pyrozolone derivative has powerful analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory action. It is of great value as adjunct to primary therapy, septic or endotoxic shock describes the spectrum of changes found in an animal suffering trypanosomiasis.
Trypanosomosis caused by Trypanosoma congolense, T.vivax, T.brucei and Trypanosoma evansi.
Piroplasmosis caused by B. canis.
Theileriosis caused by Theileria annulata.

Pronil injection is recommended for I/M only.
Normal dose is 0.3ml per 10kg of body weight (As 3.5mg per Kg body weight)
Horses: 10ml per 300kg body weight.
Dog: 0.3ml per 10kg body weight.
NOTE:
In case of Trypanosoma brucei, the dose must be doubled.
In cases of Surra, if required the dose may be repeated on third day.

In case of large volume to be injected, divide the dose into two separate sites.
Store below 25ºC in a cool and dry place.
Keep out of the reach of children.
